McDonald's targets kids...and its costing New Zealand

Who here thinks that McDonald's needs a good slapping after announcing their latest buy a Burger get 10c off petrol? Good one guys...get New Zealand to chow down on more of your fast food.On top of this I have seen McDonald's described as food pedophiles. Target young kids and get kids to think McDonald's are the good guys and to like them so McDonald's can feed them as adults with their unhealthy (junk) food.
The tobacco industry has used this same tactic. Have sexy girls in movies smoking...guess what happened to the number young girls smoking did?

Good on the NZ police for removing McDonald's as a sponsor for their "make it click" seat belt campaign.
Lets be clear. 90 plus percent of their food sold is high fat or high sugar. New Zealand is buckling under an obesity crisis.
The last thing New Zealand needs is fast food companies trying to sell to our vulnerable kids and trying to market themselves as the good guys.
Obesity is a preventable disease...bring on a "fat tax"
McDonald's are even trying to say they are acting in a socially responsible way...yeah right.
