Whats happening to generation Y?

(Yes you should be worried)

Things were not going well for Simon. He had

$3500 owing on Hire Purchases (Laptop, stereo and cellphone)
$1200 fines
$8200 owing on car payments
$3500 (maxed out) credit card...and looking at getting another card
$400 - 600 repairs needed to get a warrant and registration (no insurance)
$1700 owing to Parents

On top of this Simon
spent on average each week
$80 - 150 going out Friday/ Saturday night
$30 phone top ups
$40 takeaways/ lunch (over and above his weekly food bill for the flat)
$60 petrol

Simon had $10.50 in his bank account

Yet Simon had a dream of traveling around the world and all he could see was his dream slipping away and he was hating the world.

Simon started taking "P" as an escape.

His Mum had no idea what was wrong with Simon. all she could see was he was depressed and looked unhealthy and probably needed to be on anti depressants.

Simon was 22 years old

The question you need as a Parents in "how do I not let this same thing happen to my son or daughter?

This is a question I am seeking to address and help Parents get the tools to ensure their kids live a healthy wealthy and wise life.
